Description: This is a brief guide on how to create e-mail rules/filters for OWA (Outlook on the Web)
Step 1. Navigate to Outlook.com and sign in
Step 2.In the top right corner, click the settings button
Step 3. Click Rules in this menu
Step 4. From here you can click "Create a new rule". I will walk through an example with you here. Let's say you get a lot of e-mails from something automated, such as AirBnB. Go ahead and create a rule to mark those as read so that you don't have to always manually open them.
Step 4.1 Click "Add new rule"
Step 4.2 On the next screen, name the rule.
Step 4.3: Next, we'll want to add the condition for the e-mail being from the e-mail address we want to mark as read. In this example, we'll be using AirBnB. Click the dropdown, and then "From"
Step 4.4 Enter the address that we want rules to run on. In this example, it's automated@airbnb.com
Step 4.5 After this, we want to select the action that we want to perform. For this example, we want to select mark as read.
Step 4.6 Finally, click save and your rule will be applied to any e-mails coming from the specified address.
